Funny email circulating...

Heard about this email... read it in Perisik Rakyat posting in The Candidate. So... I cut and paste it here... wonder if Pak Lah ever thinked of facing Anwar face to face...
PM: Okay people, you all know we have to face Anwar in Permatang Pauh and that is not exactly kacang puteh, so we must get the best candidate or we will be eaten alive.

Najib: Actually there is only one candidate here who can fight him there and he hails from a nearby constituency.

PM: Who, who? Call him now.

Najib: Its you Pak Lah. Only you can win there. I suggest you resign your seat and take on Anwar in PP. As for KB, it is a safe seat.

PM: Wow, what a good idea. When he trashed me real good, I will be without a seat in government and an easy target in our own elections in December. Very clever ha you. Why not you go there?

Najib: Cannot la. I am not from the North and the people are blaming me for that sodomy case so they won't take too kindly to me. I still believe you are the best candidate la.

PM: I know you la Najib. Okay, I could do it but when I resign, Khairy will act as the PM. You agree?

Najib: Er, er, it was just an idea la, and I can see that it is a bad one. Forget it la.

Samy: Er, Pak Lah. I also can. I have no seat now so I am free.

PM: Samy why don't you stop joking? We are serious you know.

Samy: I am serious la. Why you think I Indian, I cannot win in Permatang Pauh ka?

Najib: Hey Samy you can't even beat a Muslim fundamentalist if you were to contest in Mumbai la.

Annuar: Like this la. Lets accept facts, we know we are going to lose. Last I heard, punters are willing to kuyu BN about 5000 votes, its a lost cause la. Why not we say we are fed-up with them playing a fool with the elections and boycott the by elections.

PM: You mean run away?

Annuar: If we lose with a smaller majority, Anwar will still get in but if we lose with a bigger majority, malu and mampoih la.

Samy: Why must lose with bigger majority?

Annuar: In March no sodomy case also we lost by nearly 14K votes, now got sodomy charges and everyone don't believe it, so what happen?

Muhyidin: I think we put Ezam la. If anybody is going to get slaughtered let it be him.

Nazri: Why not the last candidate, Uz Firdaus?

PM: I heard he is afraid that if he loses, his chances for Ketua Bahagian would be lost.

Samy: I know, I know. We put that Sepol fellow. In our posters we put a picture of his arsehole. Surely can get sympathy one.

Kayveas: Hey Samy, you go play outside with the Puteri UMNO la, kacau only. Talk like retarded boy only. Chit.

Samy: Hey Kayveas, what you say? I cannot tahan you already la, come la if you are brave.

PM: Shut up you two. Go to the corner there and turn towards the wall. Go now.

Nazri: What did Tan Sri Rashid say?

PM: Not enough time to bring the Nepalese, Tibetans and Eskimos here. We have run out of ICs to issue.

Samy: Hey Najib, what about your wife? Nowadays everybody is afraid of her what. Put her la. Surely very explosive affair one.

Najib: Shut up la you. What my wife did to you that you want to talk about her like that? You want me to call her here ka?

Samy: Haiyo, no la. Joking only la. I want to die in one piece.

PM: We still do not have a candidate.

Najib: No matter who the candidate is we will still lose so why bother with a strong one? Lets just put in someone insignificant and let him be slaughtered.

PM: Yes I agree. Aaaa, Samy! Samy! Are you really interested in Permatang Pauh?
PM in distress

Penarik Beca writes again...

And he's not happy of being arrested... because of his clumsy mistake. He shouldn't have cut and paste the rendered police crest... and he is sorry about it. Read what he is not happy about here.

Apa-apa le... janji kau dah keluar lokap. But why was he arrested by Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Komersil (JSJK)? What is the relationship between rendering police crest and commercial? Anybody knows?

Apa mau cerita...

Read that blogger Bakaq was released from police custody in Rocky Bru's posting. Bakaq was apologetic about posting the rendered police crest but still stands by the contents of his posting. Bakaq quote:
"I would like to say that I regret putting the crest there. It was wrong, a stupid mistake. I would like to tender my sincere apology to the whole police force.

"I defended and still defend what I wrote but since the first moment they hauled me in, I've said without any reservation that I regretted having copied-and-pasted the image." - Taken from Rocky Bru
Alhamdulillah... Bakaq is safe and the police treated him well. Good job that the police maintain their professionalism... although I still question his arrest under Sedation Act... especially when we know know that Bakaq was arrested because of his posting which features the rendered police crest.

Anyway... things are back to normal and I'll do miss Bakaq writings as now he has no computer and modem... hence no new postings in his blog.
On another note... can you believe that I missed the Charity Shield between Manchester United and Portsmouth. Didn't realize that the Premier League is going to start any week now... God... forgot that I need to update my Yahoo Fantasy Football Team. Yup... this time around... I am going to concentrate on the fantasy league since I'll be unemployed. Yup... I am jobless for the first time in my working life. Pretty scary thought for me but I am taking it easy... step by step and assessing what to do. So you guys out there.. watch Little Green Men... they are the team to beat.. hehehe.

Penarik Beca arrested...

One of my favourite blogger, Penarik Beca was arrested last night at his home. The arrest was done under the Sedition Act. Read more from Kickdefella in Penarik Beca in Police Custody.
Today is not a good day. I am coughing like a dog... got up late because lack of sleep (because of the cough)... got into massive traffic jam because of the bloody roadblocks the police have errect... just because they are charging Anwar for the sodomy case. Why roadblocks..? It's anybody's guess... but for me its shows police stupidity (the police superiors)... no offence to the lower ranking ones... korang pun sure menyampah buat roadblock ni... tengok muka pun tau.

And then this arrest news... under Sedition Act... really makes my blood boil. Don't know what is seditious in Bakaq's writings... his last writing was about Rafidah's proposal of power transfer to her deputy Sharizat... he commented that it does not goes well with the Wanita UMNO's grassroot... does not look democratic at all. Nothing seditious at all.

I guess he got arrested because of his second last posting. You all can read the last two postings 'Sentuhan kecundang' here and 'Hukuman ke atas kaki rasuah' here.

No cheers for today... the country is really going down the drain... all because of this guy... he is really under distress. That is why I am displaying this...

SD again...

Another SD... this time from the Pusrawi doctor who is the first doctor to examine Saiful Bukhari's ass for the alleged sodomy case. RPK (Raja Petra Kamarudin) has reveal this SD in his posting What the IGP and AG do not know......yet. Looks like the good doctor is protecting himself from somebody or something. Makes this 'wayang' much more interesting now. For Anwar's supporters... they will say that this is proof that the sodomy case is purely a government conspiracy. Don't know what Anwar's detractors would comment on this SD... quite tough to deflect this. The government's argument saying the doctor is just a normal GP really does not hold water... especially when the doctor clearly explain what he did in his SD.

Just read below and do your own conclusion...

Really want to see how the Government handles this... I bet you that they will make a boo-boo just like last time. Sometimes people are so dumb... they'll do the same mistakes all over again...

Upside down...

One of me favourite blogger Kickdefella has started this campaign as a mark of protest. If anyone have a reason to disagree with the manner the country is heading, then you have a cause to join him and raise the Malaysian flag 'Jalur Gemilang' upside down. The upside down flag is accepted as official signal of distress. By displaying it properly, it is not meant to be or it is not recognised as any type of disrespect.
Read his entry on why he is doing this here.

Looks like the campaign is getting its momentum as many are now joining him as shown here and here.

Me... I support what Kickdefella is doing 100%... but I like Topengperak_Xinwugi's idea more. I like my country flag the way it is (although it resembles the US)... looks horrible if it is upside down. So I will follow the blog Perisik Rakyat. It is the PM that I am angry with so it is the PM's picture that I will post upside down. No qualms to anybody that wants to raise their flags upside down... but to the ones who does not have the heart to but are frustrated with the way the nation is handled... how about doing this for a change ;) . I'm joining Perisik Rakyat's campaign...
Tak hormat pemimpin? Piiirahh... ini pemimpin tak hormat rakyat.

MRR2... strike three...

This is the 3rd time that the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) is being closed for the shoddy work done by the contractors. Why is the government so dumb? Lucky for Samy Vellu that he is out of the ministry but still he must be answerable as the two repairs were done during his time. And he must answer to this also (taken from Sun2Surf)...
MRR2: Govt went against our advice, says Halcrow
by Tan Yi Liang

PETALING JAYA (Aug 5, 2008) : The solution adopted by the Works Ministry to repair the original cracks that appeared on the Middle Ring Road II (MRR2) flyover in Kepong on Aug 9, 2004 were "not recommended" by Halcrow Consulting Ltd.

"I would like to emphasise that although Halcrow conducted detailed investigations into the original cause of the cracks, the government went against our advice not to use pre-stressed carbon fibre to strengthen the pillar heads because of its limited ductility (capacity to deform before fracture)," Halcrow engineer Roger Buckby said.

He said Halcrow had identified the primary cause of the cracks as "expansion caused delayed ettringite formation (DEF) due to the formation of sulfate and an alum-based mineral compound called ettringite".

"Ettringite is a normal product of cement hydration. When you have fairly high temperatures (above 70 degrees C), the formation of ettringite is delayed and incomplete, but if water can penetrate in a later stage through cracks and seepage in the hardened concrete, which it did on the MRR2, it will expand and cause cracks," said Buckby, who prepared a report for Halcrow which was submitted to the Works Ministry in 2004.

Buckby, who spoke to theSun in a phone interview and later via email today, stressed that Halcrow was not the company responsible for carrying out the final repair works on the MRR2 pillars which cracked on Sunday, raining concrete fragments on motorists from under the flyover.

"My company was not appointed to undertake the detailed design and supervision of the remedial works, which I understand was done by Leonhardt & Andra, a German consultant," he said, pointing out that the recent incident was possibly due to a rupture of one of the prestressed carbon fibre straps.

However, Buckby added: "Without close inspection, I cannot give an informed professional opinion on the cause, or on the nature and extent of any remedial works that may be required, but it is clearly of concern."

It was the third time since the opening of the flyover, in stages between 1999 and 2003, that cracks have forced the closure of the 1.7km express link.

It was first closed in August 2004 when cracks were found on 31 of its 33 pillars as a result of improper anchoring of the crossbeams. It was repaired and re-opened on Nov 13 the same year.

The MRR2 was closed for the second time in February 2006 and re-opened fully to traffic the following December after repairs were completed.
You pay these guys millions yet you didn't take their advice. Now we have to repair the damn thing again... for the third time!!! This is tax payers money we are talking. And we are talking millions down the drain. Can't wait for government response to this... don't know what bullshit answer they are going to cook up. Next time put a design guarantee clause in the contract. Make it 10 years long. If the design is flawed.. then Government will be covered and the contractors are answerable for their shoddy work. Haiya.. itu pun kena ajar ke..?

Bloggers on Strike... dah lama dah...

You all might notice that I haven't been blogging for quite some time. Its just not worth it to give my two sen on Malaysia politics (well... two sen... not much eh). And I see other prominent bloggers doing just that... to name a few...

Rocky's 'Malaysian bloggers on strike'
Marina Mahathir's 'I think I'll just go on strike'
Jeff Ooi's 'VMY 2008'

This current situation... not good for the country. Malaysian Politics = SARKAS. Look... the whole world is in recession... inflation is getting higher. What are our leaders doing..? Fighting for power... throwing allegations after another. Pak Lah..? Tak boleh harap... bloody useless. You are running this country to the ground... are you awake aaa uncle? Take heed of Tun's Malaysia and a World in Turmoil advice. The people are feeling the pinch... the poor and middle class (well.. the rich are getting richer). Do something... for crying out loud.

Now for the parties who are involved in the allegations of murder and ass playing. Stop and take heed of this advice from the Mufti of Perlis... Mubahalah agar umat tidak berbalah. You guys are Muslims... take the muslim way of solving things. Have faith in God's way. Tok Guru Nik Aziz concurs with the idea. So the question to Anwar, Saiful, Najib, Rosmah, Raja Petra and others who are involved... when? What is there to hide if you are innocent? So... pretty please with sugar on top... just do it and let God give you justice. Simple isn't it?

The drama starts... wayang sudah bermula...

Copied this police report from Rocky's Bru.
The following police report was made on 28 June 2008 at 5.45 PM by Mohd Saiful Bukhari bin Azlan, who turns 23 next week (i/c no 850706-01-5687):

Majikan saya Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim - Ketua Umum PKR."
Me comments... short and simple police report. With this police report I expect (if they charge Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) there will be no more repeat of the previous circus with a lot of ammendments made to the charges. Last time they change of dates of the events like nobody business, now its clearly state here 26th June 2008. One of the reasons they change the dates is because the place where the event took place were not there in the first place... talk about shoddy investigation.

I say let police investigate... although most of us Malaysians would take this advice like a pinch of salt... tsk tsk tsk... cannot comment more on people's perception of the police. But a report has been made and thus the police will have to investigate... hopefully they do it professionally as I believe they always do (I saw you cringe ;) ).

Anwar has also responded... alleged in the Turkish Embassy... huh?... fearing for his safety. Can read his statements here.

Last time it was the driver... now it is the special assistant cum coffee boy... read here. This boy is now famous... and I don't want to make him more famous by posting his pictures in my blog... you can read about him in Rocky's Bru here... apparently he just got engaged last month. Also read jahilGoBlog and Riwayat Hayat. Some of the blogs has started demonizing this 23 year old chap... can't blame them. Some of the blogs also started demonizing DSAI as well... as in here, here, here and here... can't blame them as well.

But I am just curious... this chap has his picture taken with a friend who works for... Datuk Seri Najib... the Deputy Prime Minister. Najib again..? Anwar vs Najib again? Tsk... tsk... Pak Lah is grinning ;)

Well... here we go... again...

Woke up this morning and lo and behold, this news greets me. Taken from The Star:
Anwar denies sodomy claims
By LOURDES CHARLES, STEVEN DANIEL and WANI MUTHIAH

SHAH ALAM: Parti Keadilan Rakyat de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was left fighting for his political credibility, calling a press conference at 1.20am today to deny allegations that he sodomised his aide.

He described the allegations made by his aide in a police report lodged yesterday as a “total fabrication”.

Anwar's statement was read out by PKR vice-president Sivarasa Rasiah at the press conference at a hotel in Shah Alam.

The statement, which was also faxed to media offices, said: “The police report lodged against me today is a complete fabrication. I believe we are witnessing a repeat of the methods used against me in 1998 when false allegations were made under duress.”

Asked why Anwar was not at the press conference, Sivarasa said Anwar was very busy attending to “too many telephone calls.”

Earlier, a man claiming to be an aide of Anwar lodged a police report alleging sodomy by the PKR leader.

It is learnt that the man, in his 20s, lodged the report at a police beat base here at 5.45pm.

He is being treated at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur.

Sources said the man alleged that he was sexually assaulted last Thursday inside a luxury apartment in the city.

He also alleged that it was not the first time that Anwar had sexually assaulted him.

Sivarasa said the aide started working for PKR three months ago to help out in the general election.

City CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Ku Chin Wah confirmed that a report had been lodged but declined to give details.

Sources said police were waiting for the medical report from the hospital before proceeding with investigations.

They also said Anwar was expected to be called up by the police to have his statement recorded.
This is big news. The detractors of DSAI will definitely say that this is proof that he is a sodomite. DSAI supporters will say that this is a repeat of the 1998 fiasco which ends up with DSAI in jail. We will see what will transpires in the couple of days... I can assure you, more drama will unfold... only in Malaysia folks.

Hope we will not see the repeat of the 1998 fiasco... if you want to charge the guy... let it be believable... or else it looks like a circus as it did last time. And please.. no more 'mattress' as evidence... ;)

Kickdefella Bares All on Malaysia Oil Subsidy...

There are ways for the Government to not increase the petrol price in Malaysia. Read what Kickdefella says in Sheih on Sheih: Pariah Leadership and Death of an Economy, Data Bukti Kerajaan Selesa Dengan Kenaikan Harga Minyak Mentah, and Hassan, Husam and The Truth About Fuel Subsidy.

Read it and make up your mind... is Pak Lah's plank-of-wood government serious in protecting the rights and interests of the Rakyat? And read this piece from Big Dog Who really made money fron the RM625.00/car subsidy pay out?.

Nuff said... Kick this guy out... before Malaysia becomes bankrupt :@ .

Somebody is mad at you Pak Lah

The website of the Prime Minister's Office was hacked... :r
Penggodam Miskin must be really mad at you Pak Lah :@
If you go to the website now... it will show this...
"Laman Web ini ditutup buat sementara waktu kerana kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan.
Pejabat ini memohon maaf di atas segala kesulitan yang dihadapi."

"This site is currently under maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience."
I understand why Penggodam Miskin is angry with Pak Lah. Millions of Malaysians are also angry with Pak Lah and his half-past six cabinet members.
But KFC? Penggodam Miskin must be a chicken lover :D Hacker pun dah miskin daa...

Multi-racial Malaysia... unique with a price

Read Tun Dr. Mahathir's blog on 'Multi-racial Malaysia'. I agree with what is said in there. Malaysia is unique as it practice 'multi-racial' where each races talks and schooled in their ancestral language. If we look at our neighbouring countries... Indonesia... Thailand... the minority races adopts the indigenous people's language and culture. That is what makes Malaysia 'unique'. But this uniqueness comes with a price... race division instead of assimilation.

My opinion... if you read carefully what Tun has written... its all about assimilation... language and culture. We want Bangsa Malaysia? Then... lets have one language... one school... heck... if we can... one culture. Else... we are going to have affirmative action of the NEP for a looong time... like it or not. Just like Tun said and I quote:
I feel sure that if we can reduce economic disparities between Malaysians they would not be too conscious or too insistent on being identified by their racial origins. They would still be Malays, Chinese, Indians, Muruts, Bajaus, Dayaks etc. but they would be less hostile and critical of each other.

Malaysian races are symbiotic and they really complement each other. Even though multi-racial Malaysia will still be ethnically multi-racial, Malaysia would remain relatively peaceful, capable of good economic growth and exhibit relative harmony between races if the leadership of the country understands this problem and knows how to manage.

That is as much as we can hope for since we are opposed to the adoption of a single mother tongue and culture and to dropping the identification with the countries our ancestors came from.
Look... if people of Kelantan can do it (why look at Thailand and Indonesia... duhh)... serious... I know lots of Chinese and Indian talk in 'loghat Kelate'... why can't the whole of Malaysia (have one language... not necessarily loghat Kelate ;) )? I always feel if we have one language... we can speak with one 'voice' and we can understand each other better and hopefully that will lead us to have one culture. Then all this affirmative action of NEP will simply 'slide' away as we are Bangsa Malaysia. The question is.. are we up to it?

On a lighter note, Tun also said and I quote:
The other leg of the NEP is to eradicate poverty irrespective of race. From surveys it is clear that there is more poverty among the indigenous people than among the Chinese. It is therefore more likely for poverty among the Chinese to be self- eradicated than among the Malays and the natives of Sabah and Sarawak. Unfortunately the Indian leaders did not address the problem of Indian poverty.
What say you... Samy Vellu? Jeng... jeng... jeng ;)
