Today Pak Lah announce that petrol will be raised by 78 sen per liter, a hike of 40%... RM2.70 per liter!!! :o ... effective after midnight. To lessen the burden... every private vehicle which is below 2000cc, as well as pickup trucks and jeeps with engine capacities of up to 2,500cc will be given annual cash rebate of RM625. Owners of private motorcycles with engine capacities of up to 250cc will receive RM150... what a joke :r ... that amount does not even cover a month of fuel usage. Right now every petrol pump is in chaos as people line up to fill up their cars... traffic jams everywhere... manic. Pak Lah also announce that Tenaga Nasional Bhd would be raising electricity rates by 18% for homes and 26% for business users.
But seriously... I have expected this... more after BN wins the GE even though with reduced majority. What do you expect..? BN = Barang Naik. After this food prices will go up... living expenses will go up... inflation will go up. Practically we have to buckle up and tighten our belts... tough times is ahead of us.
And what does Pak Lah advice us..? Same old advice... Ubah cara hidup... which reminds me of this short film by Youth for Change...
For crying out loud... I am bloody angry :@ I want the leaders to walk the talk... You first Pak Lah... Change your bloody lifestyle... add your freaking family too. No more trips to Australia... no more Monsoon Cup... no more private party concerts... then ask us the Rakyat to ubah cara hidup. You want us to be like in the film? Go fly kite...
